Terms and Conditions for Using the Robinhood Platform
The service requester agrees to use the Robinhood platform as approved by the company and in accordance with the service details specified by the company. The service requester agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Definitions
1.1 “Transaction Tool” refers to devices such as computers, mobile phones, tablets, and/or other tools as specified by the company used to make transactions.
1.2 “Service” refers to Robinhood platform services as described in these terms, including food ordering, convenience store item ordering, parcel delivery, purchasing discount coupons or vouchers, insurance requests, payments, posting reviews, and other services the company may provide via the platform in the future.
1.3 “Company” refers to Purple Ventures Co., Ltd., and includes any assigned persons.
1.4 “Driver” refers to the person responsible for picking up and delivering the service requester.
1.5 “Service Requester” refers to the person who uses the Robinhood platform by making transactions through the platform as specified by the company.
1.6 “Parcel Recipient” refers to the individual to whom the service requester wishes to send a parcel.
1.7 “Parcel Sender” refers to the individual who picks up the parcel from the service requester and delivers it to the parcel recipient.
1.8 “Convenience Store Deliverer” refers to the person who picks up items from a convenience store and delivers them to the service requester.
1.9 “Food Deliverer” refers to the person who picks up food from a restaurant and delivers it to the service requester.
1.10 “Platform” refers to the Robinhood platform which offers food ordering, convenience item ordering, parcel delivery, reviews, and other services to users.
1.11 “Parcel” includes items such as food, consumer products, household items, electronics, clothing, and any other items not prohibited by the company.
1.12 “Vehicle” means the car used by the driver for transporting service requesters.
1.13 “Service Transaction” refers to any command or transaction through the platform, such as food ordering, item ordering, parcel delivery, or payment.
1.14 “Parcel Delivery Order” refers to the parcel delivery transaction made by the service requester through the platform.
1.15 “Driver Request Order” refers to a request for a driver made by the service requester through the platform.
1.16 “Convenience Store Order” refers to the item order made by the service requester from a convenience store through the platform.
1.17 “Food Order” refers to the food order made by the service requester through the platform.
1.18 “Convenience Store” refers to merchants using the Robinhood merchant service who sell convenience goods and deliver them to the deliverer.
1.19 “Restaurant” refers to merchants using the Robinhood merchant service who prepare and hand over food to the deliverer.
1.20 “Convenience Goods” include a variety of consumer goods, perishables, frozen items, household goods, electronics, personal care products, and pet supplies offered by convenience stores on the platform.
1.21 “Force Majeure” refers to events beyond the company’s control, such as power outages, cyberattacks, or harmful data not caused by the company’s negligence.
1.22 “Food” refers to food, snacks, beverages, and consumables.
2. Use of Service
2.1 The service requester acknowledges that the company only provides the platform and is not involved in providing food, convenience goods, or any transportation services, nor is it a party to any purchase contract between service requesters and merchants.
2.2 The requester must use a device with system specifications as required by the company to access services.
2.3 The requester must register and create an account and agrees to comply with all terms shown before and during transactions.
2.4 If a function requires a personal code and it is entered incorrectly too many times, the system will temporarily suspend service. The requester must contact the company for assistance and cannot claim any damages from this suspension.
2.5 The requester may use services through the platform 24/7 or as specified by the company, including:
- Food Orders: Must review all details and complete payment using specified methods. No cash on delivery. Cancellation allowed within 5 minutes after the deliverer accepts the order. The company is not liable for food quality, delivery delays, or disputes. These must be resolved directly with the restaurant or deliverer. Incorrect address entries must be resolved with the deliverer, and extra fees paid via QR or other agreed methods. The company does not provide ingredient or allergen information.
- Convenience Store Orders: Similar terms as food ordering apply. Cancellation, refunds, and disputes follow similar rules. The company is not responsible for defects or safety issues in products.
- Parcel Delivery: Specific types of items (e.g., illegal goods, valuables, hazardous materials, human remains) are prohibited. Cancellations allowed before the deliverer accepts or within 15 minutes with fees applied. Disputes and wrong addresses must be handled by the requester and deliverer directly.
3. Legal Binding and Transaction Validity
3.1 All actions via the platform are considered legally valid and binding, even without a signature.
3.2 The requester confirms all provided information is accurate. The company may suspend services if data is found false.
3.3 All actions using the registered ID are considered valid and binding.
3.4 Any documents prepared by the company on behalf of the requester are binding.
3.5 The requester is liable for any damages caused by illegal or unethical use of the service.
4. Intellectual Property
The platform and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. Use of the platform does not grant ownership of any part of it.
5. General Provisions
5.1 The platform must only be used for its intended purpose.
5.2 The requester must not introduce viruses, reverse engineer, or scrape data from the platform.
5.3 If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
6. Suspension and Termination
6.1 The company may suspend service for maintenance or at its discretion.
6.2 Services can be terminated with 7 days’ notice or immediately for violations, fraudulent use, or legal obligations.
6.3 Termination does not affect existing obligations.
7. Liability and Disclaimer
7.1 The company is not liable for any damage unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7.2 Not liable for force majeure or indirect damages.
7.3 Maximum liability is limited to the service fee paid for that transaction.
7.4 The requester must compensate the company for any damages caused by misuse.
8. Data Collection, Use, and Disclosure
8.1 The company may record conversations and store data for service purposes.
8.2 Personal data will be used according to the privacy policy on www.robinhood.co.th.
8.3 Personal data may be shared with relevant parties to complete service transactions.
8.4 The company may send marketing messages, which the requester can opt out of.
9. Compliance
9.1 The requester agrees to follow all current and future terms, manuals, and usage documents.
9.2 Publishing the terms on the platform or website is considered valid notice and acceptance.
10. Notices
Any communications sent by the company to the provided contact details are deemed received.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Thai law, and any disputes will be settled under Thai jurisdiction.
